MEDIA ADVISORY: Super Bulldawg Camporee at MSU

Boy Scouts from throughout East Mississippi are gathering this weekend [Nov. 6-8] at Mississippi State for the 2009 Super Bulldawg Camporee.

More than 250 scouts, leaders and volunteers from the Pushmataha Area Council are expected for the special event taking place on the university's South Farm and adjoining Mississippi Horse Park, as well as the main campus.

In addition to two nights of camping and cooking out, a full day of activities is planned Saturday [the 7th] when more than 40 MSU faculty, staff and students lead merit-badge workshops on such topics as architecture, nuclear science and photography, among others.

The Pushmataha Council serves Calhoun, Clay, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Lowndes, Monroe, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Webster, and Winston counties. (For more, visit http://www.pushmataha.org/.
