Mssissippi State Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Brian S. Locke, professor of military science, runs down Highway 12 in Starkville on the first leg of the Egg Bowl Run. The Bulldog cadets began taking turns at 5 a.m. Monday to run two or three miles with the Egg Bowl game-day football from Mississippi State to Calhoun City, where University of Mississippi cadets will take the ball to the Oxford campus. The Egg Bowl will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29.
