The Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity hosted "A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People" on Wednesday to highlight voter education and political awareness and encourage voter registration. Justin Griffin, an 18-year-old freshman business economics major from Walls, used a voter machine for the first time at the program. Saturday, Oct. 4, is the deadline for voter registration in Mississippi before the Nov. 4 general election. More information about how to register is available here.
