MSU chemistry major Xeneia Sorrel of Rienzi waits on the winding staircase in historic Harned Hall for her Biology I class to begin. The building, which underwent a renovation several years ago, is more than 90 years old and is a Mississippi Landmark that once served as the campus library. Today, the structure is home to the Department of Biological Sciences.
