Gray Turnage, an MSU research specialist in aquatic invasive species at Geosystems Research Institute, uses Global Positioning Systems, or GPS, to determine the precise location and scale of the alligator weed invading a pond located at the H.H. Leveck Animal Research Center, also known as South Farm. Once identified, the weed will be eradicated to restore the pond's natural habitat.
