Legendary country music artist Merle Haggard brought a packed house to MSU's historic Lee Hall Wednesday as he opened the 2014-2015 Lyceum Series in Bettersworth Auditorium. Haggard and his band The Strangers played from a list of some 40 No. 1 hits that have topped the charts over the course of his career, including "Workin' Man Blues," "If We Make it Through December," "Mama Tried" and "Okie from Muskogee."
