Mississippi State education alumna Wani McFarland, who teaches first-grade in Hinds County, is helping with the Gears & Gadgets 2 camp. Campers include first-, second- and third-graders who get to build complex creations from LEGO kits with gears and motors. This camp is one of several Summer Engineering Academies offered through the Bagley College of Engineering.
