The expansion project at Davis Wade Stadium, begun in fall 2012, is almost complete. Altogether, 61,337 fans will be able to gather in the renovated facility, which will have new premium seating, as well as additional elevators, restrooms and concessions, along with the new west-side concourse. Davis Wade is set to open Aug. 30 when University of Southern Mississippi comes to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs at the opening football game of the 2014-15 season.
