Frederick Barrier, vice president of Staplcotn North American Sales, presented "Making a Case for Cotton" at the opening speech for Mississippi State's 2014 Cotton Summit. Barrier discussed the geo-political issues facing the cotton industry, as well as innovations and employment opportunities. Staplcotn is the oldest cotton-marketing cooperative in the U.S., and Barrier directs marketing activities in North and Central Americas.
