Laverne Cox, star of the Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black," spoke in the Union Ballroom on Thursday night. "Ain't I a Woman: My Journey to Womanhood" explored how race, class and gender uniquely affect the lives of transgender women of color. The audience gave a standing ovation.
