MSU President Mark E. Keenum thanked Yokohama Tire Corporation officials for their gift of $250,000 to Mississippi State University at a weekend press conference in West Point. Keenum said Yokohama's investment in education is a victory for the Golden Triangle and the entire state. Also on stage were, from left, Yokohama CEO Hikomitsu Noji, Gov. Phil Bryant, Yokohama Executive Advisor Norio Karashima, President of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi Tadaharu Yamamoto, and Rick Young, president of East Mississippi Community College, which also received a $250,000 gift during the Sunday evening ceremony.
