Vickie Lemmermann of Caledonia (with club) is among 30 area students winding up a two-week summer program that teaches the science behind golf. This group practiced chipping Thursday at the MSU Golf Course. From the green, the students move to classrooms to learn the physics, math and engineering principles related to golf.
