Lt. Gen. Colby M. Broadwater (l), acting commander of the United States 1st Army, came to campus Wednesday to present retired 1st Sgt. Roy C. Townsend with a Republic of Korea War Service Medal. Lt. Col. W. Logan Hickman Jr. (c), commander of Army ROTC at MSU, helped arrange the recognition ceremony for the Starkville resident.
