In a lot of ways, Kevin Randall keeps Mississippi State moving. As a physical therapist at the Longest Student Health Center, he helps 80 students, faculty and staff members per week work through various orthopedic injuries and get back into action.

Interestingly enough, it is in the very same center where he has worked for the past nine years that he decided to pursue physical therapy as a profession.

At 13, Kevin was recovering from knee surgery and went through physical therapy with long-time university physical therapist Celia Robson, namesake for the Celia Robson Physical Therapy Suite. Interacting with Robson and the students during his therapy sessions and seeing the many goings-on in the facility inspired him to later choose the field for a career.

"We have a very active student, faculty and staff population at MSU and, unfortunately, along with that comes orthopedic injuries," Kevin said. "Working here, I get to meet and interact with so many different people every day and that is what I love most about this job."
