Announcement from SA President Brett Harris

This season, the MSU Athletic Department implemented a new online student ticket platform that allows students who purchased season tickets to enter the stadium by validating their MSU ID on game day. The initial plan included an option for individual game ticket transfer between current MSU students; however, technical issues prevented full implementation of the plan. The intent in providing a ticket transfer mechanism was to maximize the opportunities for current MSU students to attend home games.

After consultation with the MSU Student Association, the Athletic Department will offer MSU students with student season tickets an opportunity to transfer their Auburn game ticket to another current MSU student who does not have a student season ticket.

Student season ticket holders may initiate this transfer by coming to the Bryan Athletic Building Ticket Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday [Oct. 9] or Friday [Oct. 10]. Tickets may not be transferred on Saturday [Oct. 11].

Students wishing to transfer their Auburn game ticket must present their ID along with the name and NetID of the student to whom they wish to transfer the ticket. The student receiving the transferred ticket may pick it up, in person, by presenting a valid MSU Student ID at the Will Call window in the north end of Davis Wade Stadium beginning at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Please note the following conditions:

-- A ticket may only be transferred to another current MSU student who does not have a student season ticket.

-- The transferred ticket must be picked up Saturday at the stadium and a valid MSU Student ID must be presented, in person, in order to pick up the ticket.

-- Transferred tickets are intended to be used by current MSU students only.

-- Students are reminded that MSU IDs continue to be non-transferable.

It is the goal of the Athletic Department to make the experience in Davis Wade Stadium the best in college football. A vibrant and electric student section is an important part of that experience for all fans in attendance and our students definitely provide that. Thank you for your outstanding support during the first three home games this season. We look forward to another exciting game day in Davis Wade Stadium this weekend!

Hail State!
