Get rid of unwanted prescription drugs Saturday

A collaboration between the MSU Police Department, MSU Health Education & Wellness Center and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

The public may drop off pills for disposal at the Drill Field on the Mississippi State campus in Starkville on Saturday [Sept. 27] from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please note that the DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps. Only pills or patches will be accepted. This service is free and anonymous -- no questions asked.

For additional information, please contact the MSU Police at 662-325-2121.
