The Mississippi State University Alumni Association will stream its annual awards banquet live tonight, Feb. 1, beginning at 6 p.m. The event will honor some of the universityâs most prestigious alumni.
George T. âTommyâ Everett III, a 1950 general business graduate, will be recognized as the 2013 National Alumnus of the Year. The Alumni Association will also honor nine individual college alumni of the year, an outstanding young alumnus and three distinguished service award recipients.
Other highlights will include:
--Recognition of over 45 alumni chapters for outstanding service and activities held in 2012 and
--Formal welcome of the 94th and 95th chartered alumni chapters from St. Louis, Mo., and Orlando, Fla.
