STARKVILLE, Miss.--Some of Russia's finest young string players will be featured in concert Feb. 15 at Mississippi State.

Led by Misha Rachlevsk since its founding in 1991, the 16-member group has earned a devoted following in both home-base Moscow and throughout the world.

The musicians have produced an award-winning catalog of more than 30 compact discs, including the 2006 recording "A Road Less Traveled," featuring works of Joseph Haydn.

The MSU program will include pieces from the works of Elgar, Shostakovich, Bach, and Dvorak.

The Web site San Francisco Classical Voice lavishes high praise on the orchestra, calling it "one of the super ensembles on the current international scene."
