Senior Lauren Cobb of Starkville is the 2008 Homecoming Queen at Mississippi State University.
Other members of the Homecoming Court include senior maids Carrie E. Hancock of Tupelo and Mary E. "Liz" Heinz of Ridgeland; junior maids Aubrey R. Miller of Madison and Michelle E. Peach of Jackson; sophomore maids Anne Elise Parks of New Albany and Anna K. Rush of Hattiesburg; and freshmen maids Fenly Akers of Vicksburg and Lacy L. Mitchell of Madison.
Crowning of the queen and presentation of her court and the new Mr. and Miss MSU will take place Saturday night [Oct. 25] during halftime of the MSU-Middle Tennessee State University football game at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.
