New MSU alumni leaders take office this week

STARKVILLE, Miss.--New members of the Mississippi State University Alumni Association's national board of directors are beginning their one-year terms.

Taking office today [July 1] are:

--President Andrew D. "A.D." Hunt of Hattiesburg, a 1970 management graduate and owner of the Hunt Insurance Agency.

--First Vice President Charles A. Cascio of Cleveland, a 1979 industrial engineering graduate who now is business development manager at Baxter Healthcare Corp.

--Second Vice President Karen D. Lawler of Madison, Ala., a 1982 business administration graduate who also holds a 1994 master's degree in business administration. She is budget integration and analysis team leader in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

--Treasurer Jodi L. White of Birmingham, Ala., a 1997 accounting graduate who also completed an MBA in 1999. White is chief financial officer and vice president of the Red Mountain Bank.

--Immediate Past President David W. Jones of Ridgeland, who led the organization in 2007-08. A 1981 accounting graduate, he is first vice president and information systems auditor manager for Trustmark National Bank in Jackson.

The MSU Alumni Association has more than 100,000 members worldwide.
