STARKVILLE, Miss.--High school students with interests in art, design or related areas are being invited to attend a new summer program at Mississippi State.

Called iDesign, the first-of-its-type university camp for rising 11th and 12th graders takes place June 22-27. The registration deadline is June 9.

In addition to simulating a microcosm of collegiate life, the residential workshop offered through the Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education is designed to provide participants with structured experiences in various creative design processes.

Classes will be taught by faculty members in the interior design academic program and their colleagues in other areas of MSU's College of Architecture, Art and Design.

The attendance fee of $500 covers the costs of room and board and out-of-class activities. MSU student chaperones will provide supervision when the campers are not in class.
