STARKVILLE, Miss.--Twenty-two Mississippi State students are joining one of the university's primary liaison and support group.
The MSU Alumni Delegates assist the land-grant institution with a range of host duties while working to increase student awareness of MSU Alumni Association programs and services.
Members are selected through a highly competitive interview process. This year's group was chosen from among some 230 applicants, and joins 24 returning delegates.
The new members include (by hometown):
BRANDON--Senior Elizabeth Butler, an accounting major, Jackson Preparatory School graduate and daughter of Steve and Beth Butler; and junior Trevor Woods, a management construction and land development major, Brandon High School graduate and son of Mike and Joy Woods.
CLARKSDALE--Sophomore Pricilla Li, a biochemistry/pre-medicine major, Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science graduate and daughter of Tony and Monica Li.
COLUMBUS--Senior Megan Cregeen, a risk management, insurance and financial planning major, New Hope High School graduate and daughter of Robin Cregeen.
GREENVILLE--Senior Brandon Atkison, a risk management, insurance and financial planning major, Washington School graduate and son of Tommy and Cheryl Atkinson.
HORN LAKE--Junior Jimmy Myers, a marketing major, Horn Lake High School graduate and son of Jimmy and Sheryl Myers.
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.--Junior Ben Jeter, a biological sciences major, University School of Jackson graduate and son of Tracy and Joy Jeter.
JACKSON--Sophomore Garrett McMullin, a clinical exercise physiology major, St. Joseph's High School graduate and son of Scott and Theresa McMullin; and junior Robert L. "Rob" Puckett, a banking and finance major, Jackson Academy graduate and son of Richard and Mary Puckett.
NEW ALBANY--Sophomores Kyle Kimbrough, a biological sciences major and the son of Gerald and Lydia Kimbrough, and Anne Elise Parks, a broadcast meteorology major and the daughter of Bill and Beth Parks. Both are New Albany High School graduates.
NORCROSS, Ga.--Junior Mamie McIntosh, a graphic design major, Wesleyan High School graduate and daughter of Mark and Martha McIntosh.
RUTH--Sophomore Ro'Javaian L. "R.J." Jenkins, an industrial engineering major, Brookhaven High School graduate and son of Roy and Claraetta Jenkins.
SOUTHAVEN--Senior Julie Nelson, an elementary education major, Horn Lake High School graduate and daughter of Pat and Katherine Nelson.
STARKVILLE--Senior Hillary Cook, a communication/broadcasting major, Starkville Academy graduate and daughter of Bill and Marguerite Cook.
TERRY--Senior Vanessa Nicholson, a general business administration major, Terry High School graduate and daughter of Roderick and JoAnnn Nicholson.
TUPELO--Bran Dawson, a clinical exercise physiology major and the son of John and Kay Dawson, now of Columbia, Tenn.; Marilyn Hill, an accounting major and the daughter of John and Emily Hill; and Heston Ray, a biological sciences major and the son of Greg and Ann Ray. Ray is a senior and Dawson and Hill are juniors; all are Tupelo High School graduates.
VANCLEAVE--Junior Kelsey Myers, a Vancleave High School graduate and the daughter of Sam and Marsha Myers. She is a double-major in communication/broadcasting and sports communication.
VICKSBURG--Senior Will Mendrop, an accounting major, Warren Central High School graduate and son of Charles and Rita Mendrop.
WEST POINT--Junior Claire Daigre, a biological engineering major, Oak Hill Academy graduate and daughter of Darrell and Lisa Daigre, now of Raleigh, N.C.
