STARKVILLE, Miss.--In advance of Mississippi State's annual Super Bulldog Weekend next month, the university is reactivating its game-day Web site.
Taking place March 28-30, the annual Friday-Sunday spring celebration involves a variety of activities for students, alumni and members of the campus and local communities.
All events are anchored around two major sports competitions: the concluding scrimmage of the Bulldogs' off-season football practice program and a Southeastern Conference baseball game, this year with the University of Georgia.
Now in operation, the weekend's Web site may be accessed at http://www.gameday.msstate.edu.
"Last fall, records show that our game-day site helped inform more than 125,000 individuals about what was taking place on campus during football weekends," said Jimmy Abraham, executive director of the MSU Alumni Association.
"Since mid-February, we have been requesting that any university office with an event during Super Bulldog Weekend provide specific information for the benefit of those who will be enjoying any and all of the many things that will be going on," he added.
For more information about the Web site, telephone the MSU Alumni Association at 662-325-7000.
