TVA has notified us that they we are in a power Alert 1 status. Curtailment of MSU power without notice is a high probability today. This alert remains in effect until 7 p.m. CDT. While there is ample power at this time, when the system peaks this afternoon, all load and reserve systems will be in use. The loss of a large unit anywhere in the TVA system could increase the likelihood of curtailment at MSU.
