Mississippi State Registrar Larry Dobbs is reminding university students--and faculty advisers--that all degree requirements must now be completed in order to participate in commencement ceremonies.
Effective with 2002 spring graduation exercises May 11, MSU students applying for degrees must be enrolled during the term they plan to graduate for sufficient credit hours necessary to meet the requirements of their intended degree.
Jan. 30, 2002, is the last day to apply for a May 2002 degree.
Dobbs also said students completing degree requirements during a summer term will participate in the following December ceremony, rather than the preceding May ceremony.
