An Aug. 15 informational program at Mississippi State will introduce the university's new and former graduate students to the latest library services and other campus resources.
The 4-6 p.m. program in Mitchell Memorial Library's fourth-floor graduate study area is co-sponsored by the library and the Office of Graduate Studies. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
Gail A. Peyton, the library system's outreach coordinator, said a dozen other campus and community organizations are joining as hosts for this year's program.
"This is our fourth annual Graduate Student Fair," she said. "We've expanded the offerings based on requests made in past surveys of those attending."
In addition to explaining an array of available academic services, this year's program will seek to introduce participants to the larger campus and Starkville communities, Peyton added.
