A Mississippi State social sorority is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday [Oct. 7] to help raise funds for scholarships.

Organized by the Delta Delta Delta chapter as a preliminary to the university's nationally televised football game with Auburn University, the serving takes place 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Tri-Delta house on Robert Jones Boulevard in the new sorority/fraternity row area. Sausage and biscuits and coffee and juice also will be served.

Tickets, which may be purchased in advance or at the door, are $5 each for adults; $3 for children 12 and under.

"Money raised from this event will go to the Tri-Delta Scholarship Foundation," said chapter public affairs officer Erin Loper of Vicksburg. "We are inviting all fans of pancakes and Southeastern Conference football to come by, enjoy our pre-game breakfast and support a most worthy cause."

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., CBS will carry the Scott Field match between the No. 20 MSU Bulldogs and the No. 13 Auburn University Tigers.

To obtain advanced breakfast tickets or additional information on the event, telephone (662) 325-0072, 325-0047 or 325-0065.
