Pop singer and songwriter Roger Day, whose compact disc "One Equal Road" recently has been released, performs Wednesday [Sept. 11] at Mississippi State University.
His 8 p.m. concert in the Colvard Union art lounge is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.
Day has played on more than 600 university and college campuses. A solo acoustic guitarist, he has been compared to pop musical star James Taylor.
He has been featured at several National Association of Campus Activities conferences and has been a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk Songwriters Competition.
