University Safety Week: Fire Safety Education

As part of University Safety Week, Mississippi State's Division of Student Affairs is sponsoring a fire safety education event on Lee Boulevard. The Mississippi State Fire Marshal's Office, Starkville Fire Department and MSU's Environmental Health and Safety Office will have demonstration trailers set up in front of the YMCA Building and the Colvard Student Union to teach members of the campus community about fire safety. University Emergency Management staff also will be on hand to share information about Maroon Alert and general campus emergency procedures. In case of rain, activities will be moved inside the Union.
