The Department of Human Resources Management is announcing a new retirement planning and social security workshop for Mississippi State University employees. There are several moving parts when planning for retirement. State retirement, Social Security, personal savings, taxes, health insurance and inflation should all be considered when creating a plan for retirement. This workshop will include information on all these topics with an emphasis on Social Security. Sponsored and presented by VALIC, the workshop provides retirement planning guidance that helps anyone near retirement, as well as those who want to begin to build a retirement strategy.
