The Montgomery Leadership Program at Mississippi State is sponsoring a "Singing for St. Jude" benefit concert featuring guests Crawlin' Caleb's Blues Revue and Side Chick! Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert starts at 7 p.m. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent and won't stop until no child dies from cancer. General admission tickets are $10 each, and every concert ticket purchase comes with two general raffle tickets and a free K2 cooler raffle ticket. There will be a raffle throughout the concert with items donated by local businesses. There will be a second raffle for two K2 coolers with tickets being sold separately for $2 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5. All proceeds from the concert and raffle ticket sales will be going directly to St. Jude. T-shirts also may be purchased for $20 at jcgstore.com, with $5.50 of each purchase benefiting St. Jude.
